Saturday 26^th November 2011—BHC 2011 Annual General Meeting at Mt Crosby Bowls Club (12noon-12:30pm), combined with 2012 Skills Session Think Tank & social sausage sizzle

2012 Events Calendar

January	Tuesday 17^th (and weekly until further notice)	Pre-Season Turf Training —A Grade Women & All Snr Men Women: 6:15pm for 6:30-7:30pm turf (contact Joe 0422 058 924 for info on fitness times etc) Men: 7:30-8:30pm turf session (contact Baz 0488 132 486 for info on fitness times etc.)
	Sunday 29^th 2-6pm	Ipswich Hockey Open Day 2-6pm—give hockey a go! Grab a friend, bring your runners, pick up a stick when you get there and have fun. Specialised coaching, exhibition matches, drag flick competitions, food & market stalls and family BBQ. All ages welcome (Juniors and Seniors). See the IHA website & flier for more information. Contact Jan if you can help man our stall for an hour or two (counts towards your season volunteer / fundraising duty)
	Tuesday 31^st	Turf Training Commences—Reserve grade women 1hr fitness & 1hr turf skills training—times to be confirmed
February	Saturday 4^th (TBC)	BHC Sign on Day—Bellbowrie Sports and Rec Club 10am—12noon. We’re also planning to do fliers at Kenmore shops the following weekends so contact Jan if you can help out
	Tuesdays (start TBC)	6 Weeks of Pre-Season BOOT CAMP—All Seniors & U15s welcome. Lower leg, core & cardio focus to reduce early season injuries. IHA grass fields. Cost ~$5/session (to be confirmed)
	Tuesday 14^th 6:30pm	BHC Goal Keeper Training—4 weeks (Seniors & U15s) Dedicated goalie training, conducted by specialist teachers (BHC coaches encouraged to attend so they can learn too).
	Late Feb (date TBC)	QUT Carnival (A/Reserve grade Women) - Easts Tiger Turf Pitch Joe & Helen will provide more details during pre-season training
	Monday 20^th—Wednesday 22^nd (TBC)	Turf Training Commences—Junior Boys and Girls U15/16 J1s—6:30-7:30pm Tuesday nights at IHA. U13-11-9s—Bellbowrie Sports and Rec (day & time to be confirmed)
	Sat/Sun—late Feb	Laser Skirmish (Mnt Crosby) - Pre season club social event All club members welcome (kids too). Details will be posted in January
March	Friday 16^th—Sunday 18^th	Hockey Fixtures Start—all grades (including Hook in2 Hockey)
March	Tuesday 27^th	Training Night Food Kitchen at IHA —Burgers? Looking for volunteers to help cook & serve (~$5/meal) so we can hang around after training and get to know our club members.
April	Friday 6^th	Easter Long Weekend —No local fixtures
April	Tuesday 24^th	Training Night Food Kitchen — Spaghetti Bolognaise? Details posted during early 2012 Volunteer & contribute towards your volunteer/fundraising duty
May	Friday 4^th - Sunday 6^th	Labour Day Long Weekend —No local fixtures Premier League/Open Women’s Championships (Brisbane) Men’s Masters State Championships 40+/50+ (Gladstone)
	Saturday 11^th	U5’s, U7’s, U9’s Ipswich Hockey competitions begin
	Friday 18^th	Bellbowrie Hockey Club Trivia Night Gather your team mates and put a table in for the team v team challenge Details will be posted during January 2012
