BHC also has a library of hockey training DVDs and manuals available to members (ask our secretary) and our Back to Basics hockey manual provides a basic overview for new and old players.

No White Hockey Shoes - IHA will not be enforcing the “no white shoe rule” at club level, however representative players probably won’t be able to wear white shoes at State Championships.  This rule relates to the white ball being lost to umpires view when white shoes are worn.

Free Hit Rule - Hockey Australia (including IHA) are trialing a change to the Free Hit Rule (this is a change to the international  rules).  Check out guidance note for explanation on how the IHA umpires will be implementing this rule change.  Go to WorldHockey.org for a full version of the rules.

Check the www.qldfloorball.org website for more details (and videos showing the awesome European Skills!!!).  It’s a great way to keep fit, develop your team play and have LOADS OF FUN during the summer season and all year round!!!

Play Floorball (Innebandy, Unihockey) - like ice/indoor hockey on polished wood floors!
